Crown Lynn's history dates back to 1948, New Zealand. Initially an ornamental ware manufacturer, Crown Lynn became a national icon by moving to domestic pottery production in the 1950's; soon producing tableware which was used throughout most New Zealand homes. Crown Lynn's peak production in New Zealand hit 15 million products annually, whilst employing 500 people. Crown Lynn products can still be found in most New Zealand homes today.

Having purchased Crown Lynn in 1993, GBH decided to move all operations to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Contemporary Crown Lynn products are all up-market, ranging from formal dining to daily use. Each product is skillfully decorated by hand, and vigorously quality checked. As testament to our quality, Crown Lynn today enjoys the patronage of royal families across Malaysia, exclusive supplier rights to various government agencies such as Istana Perak, and international brands such as Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
